EPT Copenhagen Open - Competitor information

You are very welcome to EPT Copenhagen Open!

I am writing this message as an assisting Tournament Director who will take care of the competition related matters during the event. During the competition you will find me and Steffen Rise Andersen (tournament official) at the tournament office near tee #1. Sinus Frank from local organizing crew is the head of the whole event (Tournament Director) and he might send you some information about the event overall, pre-ordered lunches etc.

From competition side I have a couple of things to inform you.

Groups and tee-times

Groups and tee-times for the first round are published under first round in Metrix, HERE. Those are also released on event's PDGA page and will be updated to Udisc Live soon. Remember to double-check your tee-time in the evening and also in the morning before the first round. Minor changes might possible if there are some late cancellations.

For the second and third the schedule will be similar to first round. Groups are based on results, best results starts last. First group of FPO will tee-off at 8:30 and lead card at 9:30. First group of MPO will tee-off at 10:00 and lead card at 15:30. Tee-times will be published after the whole division has finished the previous round and scores are checked.

For the first round, check-in at the latest 20 minutes before your tee-time at the tournament office. For the second and third round 10 minutes before tee-time.

Short group meeting for all groups immediately when the previous group has left tee #1.

Certified Official tests

Based on European Pro Tour rules, all players must have a valid PDGA Certified Official -test through the event. If player's CO-test is not valid when the competition begins, he/she will be disqualified before the first round. I have tried to email players who doesn't have valid test at the moment. Most of the contacted players have already done the test and everything is okay. But there are still some players without a valid test. Check that your CO-test is valid through the tournament - don't be disqualified because it's not done.

Practising and warm-up

Practising and/or warm-up is forbidden on the course during the competition rounds. This means from the very first group tee-off to the last group to finish the last hole.

Competition rules etc.

In this event we are following PDGA rules and also European Pro Tour rules (LINK). 

If you have some unclear situation during the round and no official is available near, you should play with two different ways. Issue will be solved after your round at the tournament office.

Be sure to check detailed players' info from event website, HERE.

After your group has finished the round, all players of the group must come to tournament center. Scores will be verified, possible issues solved and there might be interview invitations from the media crew.

Smoking, vaporing and use of other tobacco products are forbidden at the tournament center and during the round from two minutes signal to return of the score card.
