Welcome to the Mijas Spring Opener 2024 Ending Competition!

General info

• Two round competition
• PDGA C-tier
• Organizer: Discooter Finland
• TD: Jani Saukko, Henna Saukko

Schedule

• Golf start on both days, starting at 12 o'clock 
  • Starting order: MA4, MA2, FP40, FPO, MP50, MP40, MPO
• Check in at the Pro Shop 15 minutes before your start time on both rounds
• Prize ceremony at the Pro Shop after everyone has played their 2nd round
• First round red and final round blue

Side events

• Ace pool 2€/ all 2 rounds. Shared with hole on one throwers (pot is already 198€!)
• CTP and longest putt side competitions on every round

Scoring

• Multiple score keeping, each player in the group keeps score for all the players in the same group! One player in the group keeps metrix scorecard, other ones keep PDGA live scorecard.

  • Access code is MSOE24
• Everyone sign and return the Metrix scorecard in 30 minutes after the round. Failing to sign the score card leads to a 2 stroke penalty. Contact TD if you can't sign.

General rules and info

• Player gets a relief from thorn bushes backwards on the direct line from the basket to the first possible lie.
• Opening shot of the hole It is not allowed to be thrown from the concrete in front of the teepad
• If the competition needs to be paused due to weather conditions, you will notice it in the Metrix news and from the score keeping as it will be closed.

Prizes

• Payout will be calculated and published after the first round
• Prize info will be given in the later news post
