Hello everyone, welcome to STP Open 2022 presented by Discmania!
We are happy to host another edition of the already legendary STP Open. This years edition will be played as a PDGA C-Tier with two rounds shotgun start on saturday and a golf start for the final round on sunday (be ready to be announced by the legendary Dominic "Sandy" Sandler on the final round :D). Beside that we will offer a relaxed atmosphere around the tournament base, snacks, drinks and some fun activities on Saturday evening.
The tournament will take place on the STP-Course in the beautiful green park of St. Pölten. It will consist of 18 holes and will be a nice mix of different holes which will test all parts of your game.
Parking is possible next to the course. The Payers Base is gonna be at the „Robinson-Buffet“ next to the „Union sport field“. The address of the course is:

Registration
Registration starts at 31th of July. The first two stages have rating based registration limits, after that registration will be open for everyone.
The starting fee is 33€ for all Open classes and 18€ for the Junior classes plus optional 2€ for the Ace Pot (better be part of it, we have some pretty short holes ;)). Please pay the fee to our account as soon as you are registered!

For now registration is limited to 72 players, we may extend the field to 90 players if there is a lot of interest. In that case we would play in flights of five people only on saturday.
Players Package/Prizes/Side Challenge
We will offer a nice Players Package which includes a Disc from our title Sponsor and some more Disc Golf goodies.
We will have plenty of non-cash prizes for the best players in each division.
Additionally there are gonna be different side events like CTP-Challenge, Ace-Pot, Long Putt-Challenge, Longest Drive

Course:
We will play a nice 18 hole layout which will be based on the layout we played at Austrian Nationals last year. Final course map will be published in September.
Food:
Once again @flomaierontour will serve us with delicious food. On both days there will be a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian option. The price is 7,40€ for veggie and 8,40 for meat and it needs to be paid on site. Just give us information in the registration form if you want to have food so we can prepare enough for everyone.
Following meals will be served:
Saturday: Chicken/vegetarian curry with couscous.
Sunday: Gulasch (meat or pumpkin) with bread.
Accomodation:
St. Pölten has plenty of options to stay but we recommend to book your room in the Hotel Alfred. It is our official partner and its not far from the course. If you make a booking there mention that you are a Disc Golfer and you will get 10% off. Booking is possible from now on.
