We are extremely excited to announce the very first Adelaide Juniors Disc Golf League!
This is a 6 week league open to all players 15 years old or younger (ie. born in the year 2007 or later). All participants will receive a free disc from the SA Disc Golf club at their 3rd league day.
We will also have prizes up for grabs throughout the league provided by our sponsors Aus Discs, Parklands Disc Golf Shop and Berg's Bags.
League Details
When: Every Saturday from 14 May to 18 June
Start time: 10AM
End time: ~12PM (this is dependent on how long it take players to complete the round - 12PM is the latest we expect it to finish)
Location: Adelaide Parklands Disc Golf Course. We will meet next to the basket of hole 2 (See pin location here)
Free parking is available on East Terrace just next to the course.
What: We will run a 20min coaching clinic to teach skills and rules and then play 9 holes around the Parklands Course.
Bring: Discs if you have them. If not, we will have discs that can be loaned for the event which must be returned at the end of the round.
Cost: $10 for the whole league - this will cover you for insurance for all 6 weeks.
Payment: this can be done by following the registration steps outlined below.
Please note that each participant must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
To conclude the Juniors League, we will be running a Competition Day on Sunday 26 June (more information and registration details will be announced later) where the Juniors will compete against each other and play the full 18 hole Parklands Course. Presentations for the Competition Day and Juniors League will be held afterwards at the Stag Public House at approximately 1pm.
Registration and Payment
To register for the league, you will need to create a free Disc Golf Metrix account, by clicking here.
Once you are logged into your Metrix account, you can click on the "Register" button at the top of this page and fill in the required details. After you have done this, you will see a payment option via Paypal. Please follow the prompts to pay the league fees and complete your registration.
All league participants must also be members of Australian Disc Golf (ADG) for insurance purposes. If you are not a member, you can sign up for free here: https://www.
Once payment is complete, you can indicate your attendance for each round by selecting the relevant event in the drop down menu at the top of the page and registering for that event separately.
