Check In:

Check-in is only possible on June 23th, 2023 between 2:00 p.m. and approx. 8:00 p.m. (Please note: without check-in it is not possible to take part in a tournament) 

 

Overnight stay:

Camping possibility (only tents, max. about 25) on club premises (please register in advance: mail@discgonauts.de or phone: +49 (0)1748609968 (WhatsApp also possible)

There are no parking spaces for buses or mobile homes on the club premises. Such vehicles can only be parked nearby in the public traffic area (see also: "Parking situation").

Sanitary:

  • during tournament: several options on the course

 

Supply:

Please note that food/drinks on Friday and Saturday, apart from breakfast and lunch, must be paid for separately on site. 

 

Friday:

cool drinks (from around 2:00 p.m.) and freshly grilled food (from around 5:00 p.m.) 

 

Saturday:

breakfast buffet (from approx. 07:00 a.m. – 08:30 a.m.)

Lunch supply including mineral water (from approx. 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.)

  • vegetarian:     Couscous-vegetable pan with grilled cheese with fresh bread
  • meaty:            Couscous-vegetable pan with chicken breast "nature" from the grill with fresh bread

We didn't prepare and ordered nice weather - please bring umbrellas and ponchos, then it will definitely not rain ;-)

Parking situation:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to park directly at next to or on the club premises.

Please use the surrounding public options in the "Brunnenstraße" junction with "Tuchmacherstraße", the street "An der Bürgerheide" or the "MaxTaut-Straße". There is ample parking.

If you pitch your tent on our club premises, you are welcome to drive up to the clubhouse to unload your vehicle – but for capacity reasons, please only do so for this purpose.

Conditions of participation for the “4. Sängerstadt Open" (23.-25.06.23)

 

General Conditions of Participation / Basics

1. Due to the corona pandemic, the conditions for holding sporting events are constantly changing. Therefore, as the organizing club, we do not currently know IF the Sängerstadt-Open can AT ALL take place as planned, or HOW or with what restrictions we have to live with, or whether there will even be restrictions under which we can hold the tournament as deem unacceptable. We therefore generally reserve the right “up to the last minute” to cancel the tournament entirely, or to set the conditions under which participation in or the execution of the tournament can take place up to the beginning of the tournament and, if necessary, to change, to adjust or to cancel them up to the end of the tournament.

In any case, as a basic condition for participation in the fourth Sängerstadt Open, we require the willingness of every participant to comply with the regulations of the legal situation applicable at the time of the tournament to contain the corona pandemic in Germany, especially in the federal state of Brandenburg, and the regulations of the organizer, they have to be implemented as a result of legal requirements.

In addition, participants in the tournament accept the following Covid-19 Waiver from the PDGA: "I understand that participation in this event involves a risk of injury or death and I, on my behalf, waive my heirs, administrators, executors and trustees the N8fiwa Discgonauts e.V. as the organizer of the 4th Sängerstadt Open, the respective tournament directors and the PDGA (the "Organizers") expressly from all personal injury, loss, property damage or death in connection with my participation in this event, forever and ever and keep them I further understand and acknowledge that there is currently a global pandemic related to the disease COVID-19, that I am attending this event at my own risk, that all safety precautions taken to protect against the spread of COVID-19 by the event organizers do not offer any guarantee that I will not contract COVID-19, and that notwithstanding the foregoing, it is my express intention to indemnify the Promoters my foregoing with respect to any personal injury, loss, property damage or death I experience in connection with my participation in this Event. By registering for this tournament, I confirm the above conditions.

2. By registering for the sports tournament “4. Sängerstadt Open" on the website www.discgolfmetrix.com and the payment of the specified entry fee to the organizer, the tournament participants declare at the same time that:

a) they are aware that participation in sporting events generally involves a high risk of injury and participation in the sporting event “4. Sängerstadt Open" at your own risk.

b) they release the organizer "N8fiwa Discgonauts e.V." from any liability claims (regardless of whether financial damage, property damage or personal injury) that arise as a result of the event registration and event participation on the "4. Sängerstadt Open" (including arrival, stay and departure) arise.

c) accept them without restriction as well as the special conditions of participation listed below and they agree to all the conditions of participation.

Registration procedure / tournament processing:

The registration for the tournament participation as well as the tournament handling including scoring takes place via the internet platform: www.discgolfmetrix.com. Each participant must therefore have a personal account on this platform. Further options, such as catering or accommodation options, are also registered via the internet platform www.discgolfmetrix.com.

Payment methods:

The entry fee and other fees in connection with the tournament (e.g. accommodation or meals) must be transferred to the organizer's account within five days of the player registering.

Check in regulations:

The player check-in opens on the club premises of the N8fiwa Discgonauts e.V. Address: 03238 Finsterwalde, At the Bürgerheide 8 on June 23th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. and remains open until 8:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, players who have not registered at the check-in by then cannot take part in the tournament. Note: At the players check-in, the declaration of consent to the conditions of participation must be confirmed again with a personal signature.

 

2. Cancellation and change of the event / refund claims

Due to the difficult to foresee circumstances of the corona pandemic, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tournament completely or to set conditions under which participation in or the execution of the tournament can take place up to the beginning of the tournament and, if necessary, to change or cancel them up to the end of the tournament .to adjust.

In principle, the participants have no right to a refund or compensation for other damages, such as e.g. B. travel costs and compensation for loss of earnings or costs of any booked accommodation, should the event be changed or canceled if, in the opinion of the organizer, the competition conditions are uncertain or for other reasons (e.g. due to force majeure, weather conditions, omission of official permits, etc.).

a) In the event of a cancellation of the tournament, the organizer will withhold up to 15 percent of the entry fee received to compensate for tournament organization that has already taken place. The percentage is based on the time of cancellation and the degree of preparation already made. If the tournament is canceled by the organizer, the tournament participants will receive back at least 85 percent of the entry fee paid.

b) If participation is canceled by registered tournament participants, for whatever reason, a refund of entry fees that have already been transferred can only be made as follows:

– Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of the tournament: Refund of entry fee in full

– Cancellation up to 1 week before the start of the tournament: Refund of half the entry fee

– Cancellation less than a week before the start of the tournament: no refund of the entry fee

c) Meals and overnight stays will be reimbursed in full, regardless of the time of cancellation.

d) Any remittances will be made by our club no later than 30 days after the end of the tournament.

 

3. Processing of personal data / rights of use

Tournament participants already agree in the course of registration with the electronic or mechanical storage, transmission, publication, but also in future, further use of the photos, sound and film recordings, interviews, etc. made in connection with the event for the purpose of public relations for the organizer association and to promote the sport of discgolf. This also includes the irrevocable publication of the sound and image recordings in print media, radio and the internet. In addition, you agree to the storage, use and electronic processing of your personal data (first name, surname, date of birth, address, contact details, age, gender, etc.) for the organizational processing of the tournament (e.g. by electronic transmission to higher-level associations, for example PDGA, etc.) as well as statistical evaluation and publication of the tournament results. As a result of the corona pandemic, the organizer is legally obliged to collect and store personal data of the participants for contact tracing and, if necessary. forward to the competent authorities. The tournament participants declare their consent to this.

 

4. State of Health / Risks / Disclaimer / Insurance Coverage

The tournament participants confirm that their training and state of health fully meets the requirements of a sports competition and that there are no health concerns about their participation.

• Dangers from sporting efforts and movements, slipping, stumbling, falling, collisions,

• Dangers from own and third-party competition equipment, from spectators and volunteers as well as dangers due to uneven surfaces, but also dangers emanating from insects (in particular tick bites and other insect bites and their consequences), etc.

• Dangers due to weather (wind, rain, lightning, etc.) such as e.g.

• Danger from falling objects such as branches, etc.

• Dangers from catering provided by the organizer (e.g. as a result of food intolerance to food, drinks, allergic reactions, etc.).

In addition, the tournament participants are obliged to familiarize themselves with the competition area, the access routes and other locations (including catering, overnight, lounge and other areas) in good time before the event begins and accept them in the state in which they are located and standing. The tournament participants bear the resulting risks themselves. Tournament participants release the organizer from any liability for health risks and damage in connection with their participation in the event. The tournament participants further declare that they have personal health and personal liability insurance cover that is valid during the tournament period (23.06.-25.06.23), which also includes the loss of or damage to personal belongings.

The tournament participants release the organizer from liability claims in this context, especially in the case of loss of or damage to personal items.

 

5. House rules / smoking ban on the sports facility

The domiciliary rights lie with the organizing club, represented by its board of directors and can also be transferred to external persons (e.g. security service). House rules apply on the club premises of the organizer, which are accessible to everyone on the notice board at the club building (headquarters / tournament office) and can be called up online via the website: www.discgonauts.de.

The tournament participants confirm that they have taken note of the house rules and accept the regulations contained therein without exception. In addition, the tournament participants confirm that they have taken note that there is a strict smoking ban on the entire competition area during the tournament and, in addition to appropriate punishment by the tournament director or CO-TD within the framework of the tournament ranking, any liability arising from non-observance of the smoking ban (e.g. due to fire damage and the resulting consequential damage) is borne by the person who caused it.
