Deep in the Forest regd. association holds C-tier PDGA competition for Amateur Players (Pros Playing Am not in place). Competition is played at Huuhanmetsä DiscGolf Park.
Registration opens on thrusday 30. march 2023, at 20:00 (8 pm)
General information
- Course: Huuhanmetsä DGP, 24 hole layout (Ruotsinkatu 25, 70600 Kuopio)

- Classes: MA1, FA1, MA3, MA40, FA40 MA50, MA60, MJ18, FJ18 and MJ15
ATTN! If player is < 13 years old, s/he must be accompanied by parent or guardian during rounds.
General Rules
- 2 rounds, Shotgun start on both rounds
- Registration in advance thru Metrix: Foreign players, please contact TD before registration!
- for Finnish Nationals valid SFL competition license required , for foreigners valid PDGA-membership is required (to register)
- All cigarette products (tobacco, cigarettes, pipe etc), electric cigarettes and waterpite use during rounds is prohibited. Prohibition begins 2 minutes before beginning of player announcement, or beginning of a round and is on until score card is returned. Failure to comply this prohibition results penalty accordin to rule 812/C. ATTN: Nicotine itself is not prohibited substance. Nicotine gums, nicotine patches and nicotine tablets are allowed.
- CTP on both rounds on Hole 1
- Sudden Death on holes 1-5, 22-24.
Registration
Registration takes place in three phases. If you register in given phase, then you must pay entry fee by the end date. If payment is not recieved, registration will be removed.
In Phases 1 and 2 has following Class quotas: MA1 (18), MA3 (18), FA1 (4), MA40 (14), MA50 (10), MA60 (4), FA40 (4), MJ18 (12), MJ15 (8), FJ18 (4). Quotas will be removed at the beginning of Phase 3.

ATTENTION! if you are in queue for registration DO NOT PAY ENTRY FEE! Entry fee is to be payed when registration has been verified.
Payout:
- All Classes: TOP 3 with Trophies
- Gift cards (to Powergrip) and other trophies for TOP 3 according to table below.
- Total payout at least 60% including gift cards and other trophies
- In order to recieve gift cards player must send their Name and Email to organizers by Sunday 26.5.2023 18:00 (6pm)

Scorecards
- Double scorekeeping is in effect: paper and electric scorecard in Metrix. One player from group maintains score in Metrix, other on paper. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN
- Signing Score in Metrix is required means returning scorecard. All players must sign their electric scorecard. If there is troubles signing electric scorecard, contact TD after your round.
- If electric scorecard is not signed, it results 2 throw penalty as per PDGA rules.
Premilinary Schedule
ATTN players must do pre-competitiono signup! There is player meeting (abeit quite short one) before competition
- 08:00 - 08:30 Pre-compeition signup (Tent close to the 1st hole)
- 08:30 Player meeting
- 09:00 - 12:30 Round 1
- 12:30 - 13:30 Short break
- 13:30 - 14:00 Paper scorecards from TD before 2nd round (Tent close to the 1st hole)
- 14:30 - 18:00 Round 2 (no player meeting)
Possible Sudden Death is played after round 2. Trophies and awards will be handed out after round 2 and possible sudden death is played
