Hochrindl Disc Golf Charity Tournament 2023
Disc Golf charity tournament for the "Support for victims of the flood in Carinthia" (DE:"Unterstützung für Betroffene des Hochwassers in Kärnten").

The "Hochwasser - Österreich hilft Österreich Überbrückungshilfe" (Flood - Austria helps Austria Bridging Aid) is intended to secure daily needs and provide rapid assistance until the first payments from the provincial government and the insurance company kick in.
For this purpose we want to organize a Charity Disc Golf Tournament on SA, 09.09.2023 on the Hochrindl, the net proceeds of which will be donated 100%. Further donations are very welcome.

PDGA C-Tier Tournament

This event is a one-day PDGA C-Tier tournament played over two rounds. The primary target audience for these tournaments are players with no PDGA rating or a PDGA rating of <850 who (probably) won't get much of a chance to play in a professional event or want to gain some experience.
Note: Participation in this event is also possible without a valid PDGA membership. In principle, participation is possible as long as the maximum number of participants has not yet been exceeded in the registration.
Registration and Divisions
The registration period starts on Sunday, 20.08.2023 and ends on 31.08.2023.
Please pay the player fee quickly to secure your starting place until 31.08.2023.
The division of the players in this event will take place after the rating.
Maximum number of participants is 48 players with 10 wildcards.
The following divisions are offered:
- Gold (PDGA rating from >=865)
- Silver (PDGA rating of 800 to 865)
- Bronze (PDGA rating of <800; this includes players without a PDGA rating)
Note on the number of players: If there are less than 3 participants in a division, this division will be merged with another one. If this is the case, the details will be published in early September.
If a division is not completely filled, the remaining starting places will be given as additional wildcards 2 weeks before the tournament starts (end of August) by the tournament director to any player on the waiting list.
Wildcards will be distributed at the discretion of the TDs.
Rating-Updates:
The ratings of the PDGA update from September will be taken into account for the final division assignment.
If you have registered with a different rating, you will keep your starting place, but will then play in your current division. This guarantees a fair competition within the divisions.
Parcours
For this tournament we will play the 18 holes PRO on the Hochrindl.

Scoring
We will score with Metrix during the rounds and provide a paper scorecard for control.
Our tournament headquarters with registration and score card pick-up is again at the Herzl Hütte.
Entry fee + donation
All divisions: 20,00 € + additional voluntary donations welcome!
We ask you to transfer the money promptly. We update 2x per week the received entry fees, so you can always see if everything worked out.

We will refund the tournament fees if:

Saturday, 09.09.2023
- from 08:30h: Registration and Scorecard Pick-UP (at tournament center in Herzl-Hütte)
- approx. 09:00h: Players Meeting (open questions will be clarified)
- approx. 09:30h: Tee-Off Round 1
- approx. 12:30h: Lunch break in the Herzl-Hütte
- approx. 13:45h: Short Players Meeting (at the tournament center in the Herzl-Hütte)
- approx. 14:15h: Tee-Off Round 2
- After round 2 - award ceremony with prizes and medals
