MIXED MIJAS by Natural Born Disc Golfer
This weekend was originally reserved for Malaga Masters event, but unfortunately the organizer is not able to to organize the event this time. Based on the numerous inquiries there is definitely need for a PDGA event on this weekend. We, Natural Born Disc Golfer, decided to to take care of the event, in co-operation with Mijas DiscGolfPark.
MIXED MIJAS is a new addition to Mijas event schedule. As the name says, there is something 'mixed' in this event. The courses are mixed. First round will be played on mixed layout with front-9 from the Blue course and back-9 from the Red course. And second round vice versa - Front-9 from Red course and back-9 from Blue course. Basically all the regular Mijas holes, but mixed up.

Event schedule
Saturday, December 9th
- 10:30 Tournament office opens at Mijas Proshop
- 11:00 - 11:45 Tee-times for Amateur divisions (random groups), 15 minutes between groups
- 12:00 - 13:00 Tee-times for Professional divisions (random groups), 15 minutes between groups
- Player meeting for each group 15 minutes before tee-time
- Tee-times for first round will be published on Thursday evening
Sunday, December 10th
- 10:30 Tournament office opens at Mijas Proshop
- 11:00 - 11:45 Tee-times for Amateur divisions, 15 minutes between groups
- 12:00 - 13:00 Tee-times for Professional divisions, 15 minutes between groups
- Player meeting for each group 15 minutes before tee-time
- Award ceremony at Mijas Proshop after all groups has finished
- Tee-times for first round will be published on Saturday, after all groups has finished

- Registration is open until December 7th, 2023 (16:00 CET)
Entry fee
- Entry fee is 25,00 € in all divisions
- Entry fee must be paid in advance
- Extra fee 10,00 € for non-PDGA members (will be collected on-site)

Course fee
- Mijas DiscGolfPark is a pay-to-play course. The course fee is not included in the entry fee
- Each player takes care of own course fee directly to Mijas Proshop
- Season pass, weekly pass, daily fee
Withdrawals
- If you have to withdraw, contact tournament director via email (events@nbdg.fi)
- Refunds are based on PDGA competition manual 1.03, a 10 € processing fee can be deducted

Competition rules
- PDGA C-tier sanctioned event with tee-time starts
- Two days, two competition rounds
- Latest PDGA rules and competition manual are valid
- No PDGA membership is required, 10 € non-PDGA member fee
- Score keeping: Disc Golf Metrix (official) and PDGA digital scorecard (back-up)
- All players must sign their score in Metrix. Unsigned score = unreturned scorecard = Two penalties
- Sudden death holes (if tied 1st places after two rounds): Red 1 - Red 2 - Blue 18
Prizes
- This event is a trophy-only event (no money payout)
- Division winners will be awarded with merchandise prizes / Mijas proshop credit
- Side events (CTP etc.) and special nominations with merchandise prizes
- About 10 € from each entry fee goes merchandise prizes
