Bei diesem Austrian Disc Golf Tour (AT) Event handelt es sich um ein zweitägiges PDGA B-Tier-Turnier, das über drei Runden gespielt wird.
"Die Teilnahme an einem AT-Turnier ist nur mit einer gültigen PDGA Mitgliedschaft möglich. Bei der Anmeldung [innerhalb der Phasen] gilt das First Come First Serve Prinzip."
Es werden 72 Startplätze und insgesamt 6 Divisionen angeboten:
MPO, FPO, MP40, FP40, MJ18, FJ18
Hinweis zur Spielerzahl:
Sollte es weniger als 3 Anmeldungen in einer Division geben, wird diese Division mit der offenen Klasse zusammengelegt. MPO & FPO werden auf jeden Fall angeboten.
Die finalen Divisionen werden am Mittwoch, 23. Mai bekannt gegeben.
Die 14 Wildcards werden nach Ermessen der TDs verteilt.
Parcours
Für dieses Turnier werden wir einen 18-Bahnen Pop-Up Kurs errichten, der an das Layout von 2023 angelehnt ist. Details zum Kurs finden sich im Caddie Book der Unicorn Open 2023.
Den finalen Kursplan gibt es voraussichtlich bis zum 5. Mai und wird an dieser Stelle zur Verfügung gestellt.
Wir werden auf allen Bahnen DiscGolfPark Pro Zielkörbe haben. Diese erfüllen den Championship-Standard der PDGA.
Alle Tees werden mit Kunstrasen ausgelegt sein. An einigen Tees wird es eine erweiterte Markierung auf Gras/Waldboden geben.

Das Training auf dem Kurs am Samstag & Sonntag ist zwischen dem 2-Minuten-Signal und dem Einreichen der Scorecard des letzten Flights der jeweiligen Runde nicht gestattet. Ein Missachten führt zur Disqualifikation.

Ace-Pot 2€ (Es sind noch 104€ vom letzten Jahr übrig. Diese gehen zu 100% in den diesjährigen Ace-Pot)
Ob wir noch weitere Challenges durchführen, teilen wir euch noch rechtzeitig mit.
Scoring
Wir werden während der Runden hauptsächlich mit Metrix scoren. Wir bitten aber darum, dass in jedem Flight die Scores zusätzlich mit PDGA-Live oder einer anderen Alternative eingegeben werden.
Ebenso ersuchen wir darum, dass alle Personen im Flight scoren, um Fehler zu vermeiden. Regel "808 Scoring" ist im Jahr 2024 laut internationalen PDGA Guide noch nicht Pflicht, wird aber empfohlen. Wir würden dieser Empfehlung gerne folgen.
Das Internet in Seefeld ist sehr gut, daher sollte es keine Schwierigkeiten geben. Zusätzlich gibt es im Turnierbüro/beim Catering kostenfreies W-LAN für alle um sicherzugehen, dass alle die Möglichkeit haben, sich zu verbinden.

Wir bitten euch, das Geld gleich nach der Anmeldung zu überweisen. Wir aktualisieren 2-3x pro Woche die eingegangenen Startgelder auf Metrix, also könnt ihr immer sehen, ob alles geklappt hat.

Die Startplätze sind 2 Wochen für euch reserviert, der Anmeldezeitpunkt wird hier beachtet. Bitte überweist die Startgebühr innerhalb dieser Zeit, sonst verliert ihr eventuell euren Startplatz.
Wir werden die Turniergebühren zurückerstatten, wenn:
- wir diese Veranstaltung nicht durchführen dürfen/können.
- Die Teilnahme bis spätestens 1 Woche vor der Veranstaltung (einschl. 17.05.2024) storniert wird
ACE-POT / 2€
Es wird einen Ace-Pot geben, der freiwillig vor Ort eingezahlt werden kann. Wir bringen genügend Wechselgeld mit.
Verpflegung
Bei der Anmeldung habt ihr die Möglichkeit für Samstag und Sonntag ein Menü auszuwählen. Überweist den Betrag bitte direkt beim Bezahlen der Anmeldegebühr.
Payout
Das Preisgeld in den einzelnen Divisionen wird mindestens 75% der Startgelder betragen. Daraus ergibt sich ein Gesamtpreisgeld von ca. 1.800,00€ bei vollem Starterfeld.
Amateure können ihr Preisgeld in Gutscheine vor Ort umwandeln.
Anreise / Adresse
Das Turnier findet in Seefeld in Tirol statt. Unser Turnierbüro schlagen wir im Tennis-Stüberl des TC-Seefeld auf (Möserer Str. 561, 6100 Seefeld in Tirol).
Falls ihr mit dem Auto anreist, sind ausreichend Parkplätze beim Parkplatz Gschwandtkopf vorhanden (4 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Tennis-Stüberl). Bei der Anmeldung bekommt ihr unser Unicorn Open Logo zugesendet. Bitte legt dieses ausgedruckt in eure Windschutzscheibe auf dem Parkplatz, damit der Besitzer weiß, dass ihr zum Turnier gehört! Wir werden auch einige Ausdrucke beim Turnierbüro bereithalten.
Aber auch die Anreise mit dem Zug ist sehr gut machbar, da die Anbindung aus München & Innsbruck nach Seefeld problemlos ist. Vom Bahnhof geht man ca. 15 Minuten zum Turnierbüro.

Wir organisieren ein Mittagessen inkl. vegetarischem Gericht im Tennis-Stüberl zu fairen Preisen. Bei der Anmeldung zum Turnier könnt ihr euch zwischen den Varianten entscheiden. Bitte überweist den Verpflegungsbetrag direkt mit der Players Fee.

Unterkunft
Wir geben euch in den nächsten Wochen genauere Infos zu möglichen Anlaufstellen für Unterkünfte.
Für Spieler, die mit einem Camper/Wohnmobil anreisen, empfehlen wir den Campingplatz Kranebitterhof via dem Restaurant Garda im Westen von Innsbruck. Das Nächtigen auf dem Gschwandtkopf Parkplatz und allgemein auf öffentlichen Parkplätzen ist in ganz Tirol strengstens untersagt.
COVID-19
Die aktuelle österreichische COVID-19 Gesetzgebung verlangt keine geimpften, geheilten oder getesteten Zertifikate für die Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen.
Bitte ergreift jedoch alle als notwendig erachteten Präventivmaßnahmen (siehe PDGA Covid Guidelines).

This Austrian Disc Golf Tour (AT) event is a two-day PDGA B-Tier tournament played over three rounds.
"Participation in an AT tournament is only possible with a valid PDGA membership. Registration [within the phases] is on a first come, first served basis."
There are 72 spots and a total of 6 divisions are offered:
MPO, FPO, MP40, FP40, MJ18, FJ18
Note on the number of players:
If there are less than 3 registrations in a division, this division will be merged with the open class. MPO & FPO will always be offered.
The final divisions will be announced on Wednesday, 23rd May.
The 14 wildcards will be distributed at the discretion of the TDs.
Course
For this tournament we will be building an 18-hole pop-up course based on the 2023 layout. Details of the course can be found in the Unicorn Open 2023 Caddie Book.
The final course map is expected to be available by May 5th and will be provided in this info section.
We will have DiscGolfPark Pro target baskets on all holes. These meet the championship standard of the PDGA.
All tees will be covered with artificial turf. On some tees there will be an extended marking on grass/forest soil.

- No players meeting in the morning, you can go straight to your starting hole
Practice on the course on Saturday & Sunday is not permitted between the 2-minute signal and the submission of the scorecard of the last flight of the respective round. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
Side Challenges
CTP-Challenge

We will let you know whether we will be holding any further challenges.
Scoring
We will mainly score with Metrix during the rounds. However, we also ask you to score with PDGA-Live or another alternative.
We also ask that all flight members score in order to avoid mistakes. Rule "808 Scoring" is not yet mandatory in 2024 according to the international PDGA Guide, but it is recommended. We would like to follow this recommendation.
The internet connection in Seefeld is very good, so there should be no problems. In addition, there is free Wi-Fi for everyone in the tournament office/catering area to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to connect.

Spots are reserved for you for 2 weeks, the time of registration is considered here. Please transfer the entry fee within this time, otherwise you may lose your starting place.
We will refund the tournament fees if:
- we are not allowed/able to hold this event.
- participation is canceled at the latest 1 week before the event (incl. 17.05.2024)
ACE-POT / 2€
There will be an ace pot, which can be paid in voluntarily on site. We will bring enough change.
Payout
The prize money in the individual divisions will be at least 75% of the entry fees. This results in a total prize money of approx. 1,800.00€ with a full starting field.
Amateurs can convert their prize money into vouchers on site.
Catering
When registering, you have the option of choosing a menu for Saturday and for Sunday. Please transfer the amount for ordered food together with registration fee.
Arrival / Address
The tournament takes place in Seefeld in Tirol. Our tournament office will be located at the Tennis-Stüberl of the TC-Seefeld (Möserer Str. 561, 6100 Seefeld in Tirol).
If you arrive by car, there is plenty of space at the Gschwandtkopf parking lot at 4 minutes walking disctance to the tournament office. When you register, you will also receive our Unicorn Open logo. Please print it out and put it in your windshield in the parking lot so that the owner knows that you participate in the tournament. We will also make available some printouts at the tournament office.
Arriving by train is also very easy, as the connection from Munich & Innsbruck to Seefeld is fast. From the train station you walk about 15 minutes to the tournament office.
Lunch
The Tennis-Stüberl will offer lunch incl. vegetarian/vegan options at at fair prices. When registering for the tournament, you can choose between the options. Please transfer the amount for ordered food directly with your players fee.

Accommodation
We will provide you with more detailed information on possible accommodation options in the coming weeks.
For players arriving with a camper/caravan, we recommend the Campsite Kranebitterhof via the restaurant Garda in the Western part of Innsbruck. Spending the night in the Gschwandkopf parking lot or in public parking lots is is strictly prohibited throughout Tyrol.
COVID-19
The current Austrian COVID-19 legislation does not require vaccinated, cured or tested certificates for participation in events.
However, please take all preventive measures deemed necessary (see PDGA Covid Guidelines).
