DGCG presents - Girls Throw Wild - a Women's Only Event
The Girls Throw Wild Tournament (PDGA C-Tier) will take place from July 20th to 21st, 2024, at the beautiful grounds of the BVAEB Health Facility in Graz. Participation in the tournament is open exclusively to women in all professional and amateur categories from FJ18 and above. All categories for which participants register will be played, even if there is only one participant in a category.
The purpose of this exclusive women's tournament is to give women of all ages and levels of disc golf knowledge the opportunity to participate in the competition and to strengthen the sense of community among female disc golfers.
We hope that this tournament will inspire women to engage in our sport and provide an opportunity to network and exchange experiences.
The tournament will be played on the standard 18-hole course of the BVAEB Health Facility in Graz.
The course features an interesting mix of open meadow and tight forest holes. It is well-suited for both experienced and new players!
In addition to the professional women’s category (FPO), the following amateur category is offered:
FA3 – PDGA rating is 775 and lower (or no PDGA rating)
Separate junior categories (FJ18) are open to girls who are 18 years old or younger in 2024.
The tournament will be played over two days with three rounds of 18 holes each, without a final round (if there is a tie for 1st place, the winner will be decided in a playoff).
Players under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum number of players is limited to 54 participants. There are 10 wildcards.
Thanks to the great support of the Austrian Disc Golf Association, we are able to offer very low entry fees!
The registration fee for the Girls Throw Wild Tournament is €25 for the FPO and FA3 classes and €15 for FJ18. The entry fee includes the organization of the competition and great prizes.

Tournament Program:
Friday: The course is open all day for free practice
Saturday:
- Registration open from 8:00-8:45 AM
- Players meeting until about 9:15 AM
- Start of the first round at 9:45 AM
- Lunch break until 2:15 PM
- Start of the second round (planned) at 2:45 PM
- Option for a joint dinner in the city and social gathering (indicate at registration)
Sunday:
- Registration until 9:00 AM
- Start of the 3rd round at 10:00 AM
- Followed by the award ceremony

Saturday Lunch (select during registration):
- Ham and cheese toast
- Cheese toast (vegetarian)
- Frankfurter with side (sausage)
Drinks and small snacks can be purchased at the café by hole 11 at your own expense.

There are toilets and water available at hole 11.
Parking:
Free parking is available for participants directly on the grounds.
