Welcome to the Hochrindl OPEN 2025 - Charity!
This Austrian Amateur Discgolf Tour Event (AAT) is a one-day PDGA C-Tier tournament played over two rounds. The tournament is organized as a charity tournament, whereby 50% of the proceeds + additional donations will be donated to charity.
You are welcome to participate with cash donations on site or transfer an additional donation amount with your registration.

The target group of the AAT tournaments are players without a PDGA rating or with a PDGA rating of <850.
After registration phase 2, everyone with a rating >850 is also invited to register.
Each player will receive a players-bag upon registration, and the most successful players in the tournament will once again receive great prizes and vouchers.
Note: Participation in an AAT tournament is also possible without a valid PDGA membership - if the maximum number of participants and the registration has not yet been exceeded.
At AAT tournaments, players are assigned to divisions according to their current rating.
The following divisions are offered:
- Gold (PDGA-Rating >=935 or no PDGA Rating)
- White (PDGA-Rating <935)
- Red (PDGA-Rating <900)
- Green (PDGA-Rating <850)
- Purple (PDGA Rating <800)
If there are fewer than three participants in a division, this division will be merged with another. In this case, the details will be published in mid-September. Registration will start on Saturday morning, and the Players Meeting and Tee-Off will be scheduled on time.
Please also note:
- Wildcards will be distributed at the discretion of the TDs.
- Rating updates:
- The ratings of the PDGA update of September 2025 will be taken into account for the final division classification
- If you have registered with a different rating, you will retain your starting place but will play in the current division for you. This ensures a fair competition within the divisions.
Attention: By registration, all participants agree that their names as well as pictures and film material taken during the tournament may also be published by the ÖDGV or the UDGVH.

Parcours
This tournament is played on the extended 18-hole PRO course. All holes are equipped with metal target baskets and (where appropriate) with artificial turf mats at the tees. The course plan will be ready at the beginning of September (see link in manual) and will be announced in the NEWS.
Please note that during the tournament you will be in the Hochrindl hiking area between 1600 and 1800m above sea level, so please wear sturdy and preferably waterproof footwear!
Scoring
During the rounds, scoring with Metrix will be mandatory. For control purposes, we ask you to score additionally with PDGA-Live or an alternative (e.g. scorecards will also be provided).

Friday, 26.09.2025
- Training for all players
- The lanes will be playable from 10:00 a.m. (with corresponding baskets and tee markers)
Saturday, 27.09.2025
- 08:00 - 09:15 Registration
- 09:00h short players meeting (please have a look at the caddie book beforehand to clarify any questions)
- 09:30 tee-off round 1
- approx. 12:30 - 14:00 Lunch break
- 14:30 Tee-off round 2
- followed by the award ceremony in the Herzl Hütte
If there are shared podium places in the individual divisions, there will be a play-off: first place will be decided by a play-off, in the case of shared second and third places it is only a question of the allocation of prizes. The play-off will take place on lane 16, lane 17 and lane 18. If there is still a tie at the end of the three lanes, the winner will be determined by CTP on lane 16.

Refund of tournament fees
We will refund the tournament fees if:
- we are unable to hold this event contrary to expectations
- participation is canceled at the latest 1 week before the event (incl. 19.09.)
- A processing fee of €4 will be charged for each cancellation. We ask for your understanding.
Starting place & waiting list
The starting places are reserved for 2 weeks from registration (Metrix registration time). Please transfer the entry fee during this time to secure your starting place. After that, the time of payment (receipt in the bank account) counts and waiting list places will be prioritized if payment is received earlier. We update the status in Metrix once a week.
Parking
Parking is free of charge in the large parking lot on the Hochrindl. Parking in front of the Herzl-Hütte is unfortunately NOT possible on the day of the tournament.

Tournament center/WC/catering
The tournament center is located in the restaurant Herzl-Hütte Hochrindl. Gabi and the Herzl-Hütte team will, as always, provide you with the best food and drink. WC facilities directly at the Herzl-Hütte.
Water bottles can be refilled on site or on the course at the refreshment station between lanes 6 and 7.
On Saturday, there will be a choice of two soups (€5 each) and two main courses (€11.50 each), which you can order when you register:
- SU1: Beef soup with pancakes - €5.00
- SU2: Pumpkin cream soup - €5.00
- HS1: Minced patties with mashed potatoes and vegetables - €11.50
- HS2: Vegetable lasagne with salad - €11.50
NOTE: Don't transfer the money for the selected meals. Pay at the Herzl-Hütte the tournament day. All cards are accepted.
