    TYYNI After Dawn - Nevas Golf

    TYYNI After Dawn is a quite special PDGA event. This event is played at night! Don't worry, there will be light enough in the Finnish summer night. Unique experience, especially for foreign players but also for Finnish people.

    General information

    • The night between Tuesday and Wednesday, starting at 02:30 AM on June 25th
    • PDGA C-tier
    • One round with shotgun start

    Customer service

    • All contacts before the competition must be made to NBDG Events customer service, either
    • By email events@nbdg.fi, or
    • By using Disc Golf Metrix's Send email to admins function

    NBDG Events' customer service responds to all contacts within one day on weekdays.

    Competition management

    Responsibility for the event will be transferred to the Tournament Director on the evening before the competition day.

    Parking

    1. If you are leaving right after the competition, you can park at the golf club parking lot.
       
    2. If you are staying at Nevas after the competition (for practice round or One Round event), parking must be done to the Tyyni player parking area. We recommend using this link when you arrive (Google Maps). Tyyni parking lot is located about 500 meters from the tournament center. 

    NOTICE! Parking in the golf course parking lot is NOT ALLOWED during Wednesday daytime.


    Entry fee

    • Entry fee for all divisions is 21,00 €
    • Entry fee includes VAT, Finnish Disc Golf Association's processing fee 2,00 € and course fee 5,00 €
    • Entry fee must be paid immediately after registration
    • The organizer has the right to remove unpaid players from the competition without further notice

    NBDG's online store

    NBDG's online store accepts all the most common online banking and card payment methods as well as several mobile payment methods, such as MobilePay, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

    NBDG's sports benefit store (only customers from Finland)

    Take advantage of your sports benefits by paying the entry fee in the NBDG's sports benefit store easily with Epassi, Smartum or Edenred sports benefits. Please note that with a personal sports benefit you can only pay the entry fee for yourself. In the sports benefit store, an online store service fee (1,50 € per order) is added to all orders.

    Withdrawals and refunds

    • Please always notify us of your withdrawal by email to events@nbdg.fi
    • Don't remove yourself from the competition
    • The entry fee will be refunded in the following cases:
      A) Withdrawal is done by email at the latest 7 days before the event
      B) Withdrawal is done by email 2–7 days before the event and spot can be filled from the waitlist or any other way immediately
    • 5,00 € handling fee will be deducted from the refund in accordance with PDGA rules (1.03)
    • Entry fees paid with sports benefits are not refundable

    Rules

    • PDGA C-tier sanctioned event
    • Latest PDGA rules, competition manual and Finnish Disc Golf Association's competition guidelines are valid
    • Participation requires a Finnish Disc Golf Association's competition license (2025) for Finnish players and a valid PDGA membership for foreign players
    • In case of tied first place, a sudden death playoff will be played (holes 1 and 2 repeated until winner is declared)
    • The organizer has reserved four (4) wild card spots

    Smoking

    • Smoking, vaping and use of any other tobacco products is prohibited at the tournament office and all time during the competition round

    Score keeping

    • Each player must keep score for all the players in their group
    • One player in the group keeps score in the Metrix and the others in the PDGA Digital Scorecard
    • Metrix and PDGA Digital Scorecard must match with each other
    • Each player is responsible for their own scores on the scoring platform
    • If a player does not return (electronic) scorecard within 30 minutes of their group finishing the round, the player will be assessed two penalty throws
    • How to return your electronic scorecard:
      • If you keep score in the Metrix, sign your own score after the round = returned score card
      • If you keep score in the PDGA Digital Scorecard, confirm the group results after the round and return your own scorecard = returned score card

    Prizes

    • There is no prizes in this event, this event offers you an experience
    • There might be merchandise and/or voucher prizes in side games and/or raffles

    Questions and answers

    How dark it is during the event? Do I need LEDs or flashlight?

    • It is not dark out there. There might be some darker places in the woods, but generally speaking there will be enough light and you won't need any extra lights or LEDs.

    Do I really need to join the players meeting?

    • Yes. We play at night time and there is important information concerning your safety.

    What happens if I skip the players meeting?

    • Then you are not allowed to play. Players meeting is mandatory for everyone.

    I am coming to play with two friends of mine. Can we play in the same group?

    • No, unless you have good luck in the raffle. Groups will be generated randomly.

    My friend is not a PDGA member. Can he play the round with me?

    • No. This is a PDGA event and PDGA membership is required. He may follow you through the competition round or be your caddy, but he is not allowed to play in the event.

    Can in register on-site?

    • Registration is open until the very last evening before the event and you should have the chance for very late registration. Walk-in registration on-site is not possible.
