AM2-tour by NBDG - #5 Vesterkalmare

Natural Born Disc Golfer™ and AX Disc Golf are co-organizing an event for a nationwide AM2-tour on Saturday, July at Vesterkalmare DGP: THis event has two competition rounds and iit is made especially for lower amateur divisions. The tour itself covers 10 events, which are arranged across Finland. You can join just one event, several events or to all of the events.

This event is one part of NBDG Event @ Åland. Event week starts on Wednesday, July 22 and ends on Sunday, July 26. During these five days there will a total of six different events, held on three courses around Åland.

Preliminary schedule

  • Tournament office opens at 9:00

    On-site check-in at the tournament office before the player meeting.
     
  • Player meeting at 9:30
     
  • 1st round at 10:00

    Lunchbreak between the rounds is minimum of 60 minutes, counted from the time of last group has finished their round and returned to tournament center .

    2nd round starting time will be rounded to next 15 minutes (xx:00, xx:15, xx:30 or xx:45) and it will be published in Metrix news.

Competition rules

Two competition rounds with shotgun starts.

PDGA Rules and Competition Manual are valid in this event, as well as Competition Guidelines by SFL. A 2026 SFL Competition License is required from Finnish players, and a valid PDGA membership from foreign players. Registration must be done through Disc Golf Metrix.

Tournament is played in one pool, with 3-5 player groups. All spots will be shared based on the order of registration, there is no divisional reserved spots. Waitlist is in use if the event gets fully booked.

The use of all tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, snus, chewing tobacco) as well as e-cigarettes and hookahs is prohibited during the round. The ban is in effect from the two-minute signal until the scorecard is returned. Smoking is also prohibited in the immediate vicinity of the tournament center.

A multi-method scoe keeping is used in the tournament. Each player must keep score for all the players in the group. One player keeps scores in Metrix and the others in PDGA Digital Scorecard. Access code will be available at Tournament office before the first round.

After the round players must compare and check all scores are matching. Each player is responsible for their own scoreline in own scorecard. Score must be verified / signed. If the scorecard is not verified or signed within 30 minutes of the end of the round, two penalties will be added.

This is how you verify / sign your scorecard:

  • If you kept scores in Metrix, sign your scorecard after the scores are compared and checked
  • If you kept scores in PDGA Digital Scorecard, verify the results after scores are compared and checked 

In case of tied first place, a play-off will played, starting from hole #1.

Fees, Withdrawals and Refunds 

Entry fee is 19,90 € (incl. VAT).

The following are automatically added to payments in the NBDG online store:

  • SFL processing fee: 3,77 € (incl. VAT)
  • Online store service fee: 3,50 € (incl. VAT)

Total fee to be paid is 27,17 €

A spot is only confirmed once the entry fee is paid. The organizer may remove unpaid registrations without notice.

NBDG store accepts all major Finnish online banks, credit and debit cards, MobilePay, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

In case of withdrawal, always notify organizer by email or with Metrix messaging. Do not remove your registration manually.

Refunds:

  • Withdrawal is made at least 7 days before the event - full refund
  • Withdrawal is made 2-7 days before the event AND the spot can filled immedaitely from waitlist - full refund
  • Withdrawal is made 2-7 days before the event, but the spot can't be filld - partial refund

All refunds are reduced €5 handling fee according to PDGA  Competition Manual (1.03 A.). 

Prizes

Event is a trophy only event. Top 3 from each division will be awarded with trophies / medals. Side games with merchandise prizes.

In the end of the tour, each division winner in tour points will be awarded with a free entry spot to Tyyni 2027 or Fuengirola Open event. Free entry includes also all side events.

In the end of the tour, each division second and third placed in tour points will be awarded with a free entry spot to Tyyni 2027. This doesn't include side events.

In addition, player with most tour points, regardless the division, will be awarded with NBDG Golden Ticket for 2027. Golden ticket gives a free entry to almost all NBDG events during the year.
