    Tyyni One Round - #1 Sibbe Yellow

    A one-round PDGA C-tier competition played on the yellow layout of Sibbe Disc Golf in Sipoo. On this page, you will find information regarding the Tyyni One Round event.     Preliminary Schedule

    • 7:30 AM: Tournament Office opens
    • 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Round starts with pre-booked tee times
    • Check-in: Registration and a brief group briefing at the tournament office 10 minutes before your own tee time.
    • The organizer reserves the right to make schedule changes.

    Course

    Parking

    Parking at Joensuun Tila is subject to a fee, but the parking fee is included in your entry fee.

    • Remember to provide your car's license plate number on-site.
    • Failure to report the plate number may result in a parking fine

    Registration

    • Registration is done in advance via Metrix.
    • Select a preliminary tee time and group during registration.
    • Note: Preliminary tee times may be adjusted to ensure groups of 3–5 players (per PDGA rules).
    • The organizer will merge groups after registration closes if necessary. Changes are usually made by moving the start to the next possible later time. Check your tee time before the competition!

    Competition Rules

    • PDGA-sanctioned C-tier event.
    • Follows current PDGA rules, the Competition Manual, and SFL (Finnish Disc Golf Federation) competition guidelines.
    • Requirements: Finnish players must have a valid SFL competition license (2025). Foreign players must have a valid PDGA membership.
    • Due to the flex start format, all ties for positions and prizes will be shared.
    • The organizer holds four (4) wild cards.

    Smoking Ban

    The use of all tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, snus, chewing tobacco) as well as e-cigarettes and hookahs is prohibited during the round. The ban is in effect from the two-minute signal until the scorecard is returned. Smoking is also prohibited in the immediate vicinity of the tournament center.

    Scoring

    • Multi-method scoring is used.
    • One player in the group records scores in Metrix, and the others use the PDGA Digital Scorecard.
    • After the round, players must compare and verify that the scores match.
    • Each player is responsible for their own score on their scorecard.
    • Failure to return the electronic scorecard within 30 minutes of the group finishing results in a two-stroke penalty.

    Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds

    The entry fee is €10.00 (incl. VAT).

    The following are automatically added to payments in the NBDG online store:

    • Course fee: €5.00
    • SFL processing fee: €3.77
    • Online store service fee: €3.50

    A spot is only confirmed once the entry fee is paid. The organizer may remove unpaid registrations without notice.

    NBDG store accepts all major Finnish online banks, credit and debit cards, MobilePay, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

    Cancellations: Always notify via email or Metrix messaging. Do not remove yourself manually.

    • Full refund (minus €5 handling fee): Cancellation at least 7 days before the event.
    • Partial refund: Cancellation 2–7 days before if the spot is filled from the queue.

    All refunds are reduced €5 handling fee according to PDGA  Competition Manual (1.03 A.). 

    Prizes

    Winners of all divisions will receive gift cards to Powergrip. Gift cards are awarded to the TOP 20% of each division. Payout is 30% of entry fees (after 25.5% VAT deduction). Final payouts are published on Metrix news. 

    Gift card prizes follow the SFL (Finnish Disc Golf Federation) guidelines regarding the maximum value of a single prize in amateur divisions . Any amount exceeding the maximum will be transferred to the next prize rank.

    Winners must provide their details via the NBDG prize form within 30 days. Unclaimed prizes after 30 days will remain with the organizer accorging to the PDGA Competition Manual (1.10 G. 5.). 

    Natural Born Disc Golfer™ (Get More Group Oy) will report all the prizes for foreign players to the Finnish Incomes Register as required by law.

          

    Questions and Answers

    Where can I find my tee time? Tee times are listed in the "Registration" tab or by clicking "Show groups" in the top menu.

    Can I change my tee time after registering? Yes, if registration is still open and there are free spots. Use the "Edit registration" button. If registration is closed, email events@nbdg.fi.

    Can I play in the same group as my friends? Likely yes. Register for the same tee time and ensure everyone has paid. Note that groups may still be adjusted by the TD.

    What if I'm late for my tee time? Do not be late. This is a PDGA event with fixed start times. If you arrive late, you may join your group in progress, but you will receive a score of Par + 4 for any missed holes.

    Can a friend play with me if they don't have a competition license? No. A valid SFL competition license is required for all Finnish participants.

    The event is full, can I join a queue? Because this event uses pre-selected tee times, there is no automatic queue in Metrix. If the event is full, monitor the page—if someone cancels, the spot becomes available to the first person who registers.

    Can I register on-site? If there are vacant spots in the starting groups, walk-in registration is possible. However, we highly recommend pre-registering to guarantee your spot.
