EuroTour # 7 – Estonian Open 2019 A-Tier 

General Information

• Date: 11-13 July 2019.
• Location: Prodigy Kõrvemaa Discgolf course, Kõrvemaa Hike & Ski Resort
• Tournament field is limited to 140 players.
• Tournament has two divisions: MPO and FPO.
• Field is divided by divisions:
  • MPO: 120 players
  • FPO: 20 players
• 12 spots are reserved wild cards.
• Registration takes place in Disc Golf Metrix.
  • Each player must have a Metrix account to register.*
  • Register for the Estonian Open 2019 in Disc Golf Metrix.

*Creating a Metrix account and using Metrix is free. Create an account here. (Players should make sure that their PDGA number is correct. Metrix checks the rating from the PDGA automatically when a player registers for an event.)

Qualification Standards

• A current PDGA membership is required of all competitors at the time of the event.
  • Players can register for the event without a current PDGA membership.
• Minimum rating requirements are phase specific, as listed below.

Entry Fees

Men Pro Open (MPO): 100 €

Female Pro Open (FPO): 100 €

If you pay with Paypal, please add +5€ to the registration fee.

Payment information

The entry fee must be paid in the same registration phase that a competitor registers for the tournament. The entry fee information is also included in the confirmation email, which is sent to registrants automatically after the registration.

Players on the waiting list should not pay the entry fee.

Registration Phases and Schedule

Registration for the Estonian Open 2019 includes two (2) phases. Registration isn’t complete until the registrant has paid the entry fee for the event. Registration within phases is a first-come, first-served based.

Phase 1
Rating limits:

• MPO, PDGA rating 970+
• FPO, PDGA rating 870+

Schedule:

• Registration starts: June 12, 2019, 20.00 EET*.
• Registration closes & payment deadline: June 19, 2019, 20.00 EET*.

*20.00 EET at different time zones:

• 9.00 PST
• 12.00 EST
• 17.00 UTC
• 18.00 CET

Phase 2
Rating limits:

• MPO, ANY
• FPO, ANY

Schedule:

• Registration starts: June 20, 2019, 20.00 EET.
• Registration closes & payment deadline: July 01, 2019, 20.00 EET.

Additional phase with it’s separate registration conditions, rating requirements, and entry fee deadlines can be opened later on.

 

 

Waiting List

Upon opening registration, anyone can register, but only those meeting the all requirements (and spots availability) for the current stage will be placed on the players list. Players registering while players field ( = confirmed + registered) is filled, will be placed on waiting list (ordered by registration date), and should not make payment until advised to do so.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards are reserved spots in the tournament and are granted at the discretion of the tournament organizer. The recipient of the wild card gains the right to register to the event – wild cards recipients must still pay the entry fee for the event. 12 spots are reserved wild cards at the start of the registration. After stage 2, 2nd of July, Tournament Director will share 12 wildcards at his own discretion.
Payment for any assigned wildcards needs to be made by 4th of July. Any wildcards not assigned by that date, will be re-assigned as wildcards to registered players, on a first come, first serve basis.

Withdrawals and Refunds

We follow the standard PDGA refund policy, as stated by the PDGA Competition Manual 1.03.
