Welcome to EPT-X Fuengirola Open!

Hope you all are alright and ready to go when the EPT-X Fuengriola Open starts next week! Here we have collected some important information concerning the event and happenings around it. Please read carefully this message, the event info page in Metrix and also the posted news in Metrix.

Doubles events on Thursday

There will be two doubles events on Thursday 10th, running at the same time on both courses. These events are kind of warm-ups for the main event and are open for everyone.

Registration for the doubles begins today, Friday 4th. Check more detailed info about the doubles HERE.

If you want to take some practise rounds during Thursday, without playing the doubles, it is okay. You just need keep in mind that there are events running at the same time.

Caddy Book

Caddy book with detailed course information is released. You can find it from the Metrix event page or you can download it HERE. Please let me know if there some mistakes or some information is missing.

First and second round will be played on the Red course and third round on the Blue course.

Notice: There is a small mistake in Caddy book. It says that third round (Blue course) will be played on Saturday. No, it's Sunday like in schedule

First round groups and tee-times

Preliminary groups and tee-times for the first round are published under Round 1 in Metrix, LINK. 

Be at tournament center (at Pro shop) at the latest 15 minutes before your tee-time.

Please notice that tee-times are preliminary at this point. There will probably be some changes due late registrations or withdrawals. Remember to check your tee-time often enough - at least on day before your round and also in the morning before your round.

Pro shop

Tournament office is located at Mijas Pro shop.

As usual, you can buy tasty snacks and drinks at Mijas Pro shop, served by the awesome staff there. Chef will be making food for players, detailed schedule will be posted to Metrix news soon.

PS. Remember to drink your beer(s) after your round as we are playing in a B-tier event

Scoring

Duplex scoring is used on each round. Each group will keep their scores in Disc Golf Metrix and also on a paper card. Both platforms are official and every player is responsible for their own score on both platforms.

After your round:

• Check that hole scores match between Metrix and paper card
• Check that total scores are correct
• Sign your score digitally in Metrix (if you can't do it, ask official to do it for you)
• Whole group must be present when returning the paper card to tournament office

Smoking and using tobacco products

Smoking and use of any other tobacco product is forbidden during your competition round.
