NBDG Doubles Sandösund
Natural Born Disc Golfer, AX Discgolf and Åland Disc Golf Islands are organizing in co-operation NBDG Doubles event at Sandösund DGP, Åland. Event is scheduled for Friday 20th of August. This is an one round doubles event, open for everyone. No memberships required.

Thursday 19th August - NBDG Fast Round Kastelholm

Friday 20th August - NBDG Doubles Sandösund
- 11:30 - 18:00 | Tournament office open
Registration is possible until 15:50, but it can be closed earlier if the event gets full booked - 12:00 - 16:00 | Flexible teetimes (when 2-3 pairs are ready)
Saturday-Sunday, 21st to 22nd of August - NBDG Special Åland
- 2-day PDGA event at Soltuna and Stallhagen DiscGolfParks

- There are a lot of side events and competitions (for example putting competition and minigolf tournament) and social gatherings (player dinner) planned for the event week. More information published here and in the news section when schedule is confirmed

Course

- The course will be updated to 18 hole course in summer 2021. Course map will be published later
Competition rules
- One competition round with flexible tee-times
- Playing format Best shot
- Registration and payments on site
- Open for everyone, no PDGA membership required
- PDGA rules
- No sudden deaths are played due to flex start format
- Smoking and use of any tobacco product is forbidden during player meetings and from 2 minutes signal until returning the score card. At tournament centers smoking is allowed only on specified smoking spots
Score keeping
- Double scoring is used in the event (Metrix + paper score card)
- Metrix scores must be equal to paper score card and whole group must be present when score card is returned
Divisions
- OPEN - Open for everyone
- UNDER 1800 - Pair with summed up Metrix-rating under 1800 can join
- UNDER 1700 - Pair with summed up Metrix-rating under 1700 can join
- JUNIORS - Pair with both members born 2003 or later can join
- No rerserved spots, all spots are shared in the order of registration
Entry fees
- Entry fee in Open, Under 1800 and Under 1700 divisions is 20,00 € / pair
- No entry fee in junior division, as included in NBDG Junior Program. More information HERE
- Payment must be done when registering to tournament staff
- Methods of payment: Cash (with exact amount) or MobilePay
Prizes
OPEN, UNDER 1800, UNDER 1700
- Merchandise prizes
- TOP10% (one pair per 10 pairs in divisions)
JUNIORS
- Merchandize prize if three or more pairs in division
General information
- Merchandize prizes are shared after all results are clear
- If winning pair is not present when competition ends...
1) Pick up from NBDG Special tournament office (Saturdau/Sunday)
2) Post delivery afterwards, recipient pays shipping
TYYNI 2022 -raffle
- One free entry with pre-registration spot to Tyyni 2022 event will be raffled among all participants of NBDG Fast Round Kastelholm, NBDG Doubles Sandösund and NBDG Special Åland events. Prize is worth 120-200 € depending chosen division
- One participation = one ticket to raffle. From NBDG Doubles event both players will get a ticket
- Raffle will be done at NBDG Special award ceremony
NBDG Ace It
- Hole-in-one side event
- Volunteer to join
- Entry fee: 1,00 €/person
- Pay the price, throw an ace and get a voucher worth 50,00 €
