What's the big idea?
Tõde on, et enamus kettagolfareid on mehed ning tihti satuvad naised rajale just koos oma elukaaslase ja tema sõpradega. Kaasuvaks mureks on enda mängu võrdlemine meeste omaga. Alatasa kuulevad korraldajad naistelt võistlusel mitte osalemise põhjuseks “ma ei oska, vaata, kui kaugele mehed viskavad”. Ladies First eesmärk on sillutada naistele tee võistlusmaailma, pakkudes neile esimest kogemust ja asjakohast võrdlusmomenti turvalises keskkonnas.
Samas võiks võistluse nime pikendada “Ladies First Powered by Men”, sest meestel on selles oma roll. Alustaval naismängijal ei pruugi olla ühtegi naistuttavat, kellega kettagolfi võistlusel osaleda ja üksi end võõrasse vette visata võib tunduda hirmutav. Seetõttu on üritusele oodatud ka mehed, pakkudes uues keskkonnas veidi tuttvalikkust. Meestele ei ole osalustasu, kuid neil on võimalus vabalt valitud ulatuses panustada nii naiste kui iseenda auhinnafondi, sest võistlusmomente jagub neilegi.

The truth is that most disc golfers are men, and women often find themselves on the course with their partner and his friends. This however results in women starting to compare their game to that of men. Event organizers often hear from women that the reason for not participating in the competition is "I can't play, look how far men throw". The purpose of Ladies First is to pave the way for women to the competitive world, offering them the first experience and a relevant point of comparison in a safe environment.
At the same time, the name of the competition could be extended to "Ladies First Powered by Men", because men have their own role in it. A beginner female player may not have any female friends with whom to participate in a disc golf competition and throwing herself into the unfamiliar alone can seem intimidating. Therefore, men are also invited to the event, offering a bit of familiarity in a new environment. There is no participation fee for men, but they are welcome to contribute any chosen amount to the prize fund of both women and themselves, because men will also have a competition within the event.
Ladies First võistlus
Osalema pääseb 90 mängijat, kes grupeeritakse kolme divisjoni vastavalt esimese võistluspäeva dgmtrx-reitingule. Divisjonide loomisel lähtutakse eelkõige võrdsest osalejate arvust, kuid arvesse võetakse ka suuri n-ö auke reitingutes. See tähendab, et kui kahe järjestikuse mängija reitingu erinevus on neile eelneva ja järgneva mängijaga võrreldes oluliselt suurem, tuleb sinna divisjonide lahutuskoht.
Võistlejad mängivad kaks ringi kahe päeva jooksul. Autasustatakse iga divsjoni esikolmikut.
Võistlusel kehtivad PDGA reeglid.

90 players can participate, who will be grouped into three divisions according to their dgmtrx rating of the first day of the competition. The forming of divisions is primarily based on an equal number of participants, but large so-called gaps in ratings are also taken into account. This means that if the rating difference between two consecutive players is significantly greater compared to the player before and after them, there will be a dividing point for the divisions.
Competitors play two rounds, one each day. The top three in each division will be awarded.
The competition is subject to PDGA rules.

Fun part
Kõigile osalejatele on korraldajate poolt tervituspakk, grill-liha esimese päeva õhtul ning tee ja kohv igal ajal. Loomulikult ka ilus ja mitmekülgne rada, kus toimub lisaks põhivõistlusele meeste auhinnaline "täringumäng". Mehed võivad julgelt ka ise omale võistlusringi korraldada.

All participants get a player’s pack (also men ;). There will be meat for the grill which, as last time, men are more than welcome to cook during women’s first round. Also coffee and tea anytime.
After the first round and before the official men’s competition, all guys can organize their own round, again, as last time ????
