    Welcome to the Biber Bach Open 2026, presented by the Wiener Werf Freunde!

    We are very excited to host the second Biber Bach Open in the beautiful Kamptal region. The tournament will be held as a PDGA C-Tier. All three rounds will be played in shotgun format, allowing all players to head home early.

    Together with the Volunteer Fire Department Wegscheid am Kamp, we will also create a relaxed atmosphere in close proximity to the tournament grounds. Snacks, drinks, and entertaining activities are planned for Saturday evening.

    Course:
    The tournament will take place on the pop-up course “Biber Bach” in the idyllic village of Wegscheid am Kamp. You can expect 18 holes that could hardly be more diverse. Both the Blue and Red layouts make optimal use of the hilly terrain and lead across open meadows and terraces, through dense wooded sections, and over constant elevation changes with impressive views.

    From precise drives to challenging short-game shots, each hole offers a successful mix of challenge, fun, and reward.

    The caddy book and the 2026 layout will be uploaded approximately two weeks before the tournament.

    Divisions & Registration:
    The Biber Bach Open 2026 is part of this year’s Austrian Tour.

    Divisions:
    MPO / FPO / MA3

    The field is limited to a maximum of 72 players.

    Registration opens on January 11 and is open to all players with an active PDGA membership.

    Entry Fees:
    €60 for all divisions

    As we are hosting both a singles and a doubles tournament this year, you have the opportunity to save money:

    Players who register for both the singles and the doubles tournament will only pay half price for the doubles event – €15 per person.

    Please transfer the entry fee within 2 weeks of registration. Registration is only complete once payment has been received. Without payment, the reserved spot will be forfeited 2 weeks after registration.

    Food:
    Catering will be provided by the Volunteer Fire Department Wegscheid am Kamp.

    A vegetarian/vegan option and a non-vegetarian option will be available.

    Please indicate your preference during registration on Discgolf Metrix and transfer the amount together with the entry fee.

    Lentils with bacon and bread – €9

    Refund Policy:
    Tournament fees will be refunded if:

    • the event cannot be held

    • participation is canceled no later than one week before the event
      (including March 08, 2026)

    Scoring:
    Scores will be entered via PDGA Live.

    Parking & Arrival:
    Parking directly at the course is not possible.
    Walking time to the course is approximately 10–15 minutes.

    Data Protection:
    By registering for the tournament, you agree that the Wiener Werf Freunde may process your data for the purpose of tournament organization.

    Photos & Videos:
    Photos, videos, and audio recordings will be made during the tournament. By participating, you agree that these recordings may be used later. The organizer assumes no responsibility for media created by external parties.

    Tournament Cancellation:
    The organizer may cancel the event up to 7 days before the start without giving reasons. In this case, the entry fee will be refunded. Further claims for damages are excluded.
