PCS Open 2019
Together with PCS Construction AS, we are happy to invite you to the 4th annual PCS Open at Øverås Diskgolfpark, Vestnes, Norway 13-14th September 2019!
The event is a PDGA C-tier.
Registration
There will be two divisions, MPO and FPO. Registration opens at 1st of July at 20.00. CET and is done at https://discgolfmetrix.com/970468
You will need an DiscGolfMetrix-account to register.
Registration is done in two phases
Phase 1: Opens 01.07.2019 at 20.00 CET
MPO >= 940 PDGA rating
FPO All players
Phase 2: Opens 08.07.2019.at 20.00 CET
No limitations
There will be 90 spots available, and we have reserved 12 wild cards.
Registration fee = 750 NOK (ca €75)
Includes food between rounds on Friday and Saturday, and players package worth minimum of 400NOK
Registration fee to be paid with Paypal on Disc Golf Metrix. You can also pay with Vipps to Øverås Idrettslag #104523 (menu PCS Open 2019). Bank transfer to 3910 65 00588 can also be done. Please mark the payment.
We encourage all players to pay when registering, and the deadline is set to 31th of July.
Players who haven't paid by the end of July can be removed from the registration list, and the free spots will be given to players on the waiting list. Players on waiting list do not have to pay until they have been offered a spot.
Refunds
By 31th July: 100% - 50NOK administration fee
Within August: 50%
After 31st of August: No refund
Price money
1st prices in both MPO and FPO is sponsered by PCS Construction AS.
Top 3 in MPO
1st: 30 000 NOK
2nd: 15 000 NOK
3rd: 10 000 NOK
There will be price money for top 10 i MPO, and top 3 i FPO. The exact amounts will be decided later. FPO prize money depends on the number of competitors in the division, but the 1st Prize is set to be 5 000 NOK.
There will also be prices for longest drive and CTP, in addition to a lot of other prizes amongst the people attending the players party.
Players party
Our legendary players party will be held on Saturday night after the tournament.
Price 250 NOK, including dinner. Can be paid with Paypal to mail@overaasfrisbee.no or Vipps to Øverås Idrettslag #104523 (menu PCS Open 2019).
Accomodation
We offer budget accomodation at Ljosvang about 600m from the course. It will be available from Wednesday to Sunday, and total price is 300 NOK no matter how many nights you want to spend. Bring your own sleeping pad/ sleeping bag. Access to kitchen and toilets. Showers available in a separate buidling 300m away.

08.00: Round 3 - Golf start. Tee off 1st group. 12 minutes interval
11.40: Round 3 - Golf start. Estimated teeoff lead card MPO
14:30: 7 holes final for the best players in FPO
16:30: 7 holes final for the best players in MPO
The finals should be complete latest 18:30
20.00: Players party including food, comeptitions and price ceremony. Lead by tournament general Jøran Lufall. Price for dinner/party is 250NOK
The Course
The course will be similiar to the 2018 layout, but we will go back to a 18 hole layout. Final layout will be decided later, but it will probably consist of 1 x par 5, 7 x par 4 and 10 x par 3. Total par of 62.
Getting there
Øverås Diskgolfpark is situated at Øverås, Vestnes in Møre og Romsdal. About one hour travel both from Ålesund og Molde, and 45 minutes from Åndalsnes.

Arrival by plain
It is possible to fly both to Molde and Ålesund. There are buses that will get you to Vestnes from the airports. If you need help with transport, please let us know.
Molde – Vestnes
Bus or taxi from the airport towards Molde. Stop at the ferry terminal after about 10 minutes. Then there is a 35 minutes ferry ride to Vestnes.
Ålesund – Vestnes
Bus from Ålesund airport to Vestnes (change bus in Ålesund or Moa). About 2 hour bus ride including change of buses. An option might be to check with players from Sula if it's possible to get a lift (1h drive)
